Santa Fe Funeral Options & Memorial Gardens is the cities only family owned/family managed funeral home. We own and operate our own perpetual care cemetery and crematory, and have additional locations in Espanola & Taos. We're dedicated professionals experienced in funeral service, with strong ties to New Mexico. We understand local customs & traditions and are intent on providing special care. Our focus is on providing good service at affordable prices that only a family owned funeral home can provide. Allow us to help you plan a fitting service to memorialize a special person. We are proud to consider ourselves well-versed in meeting the various religious needs of the diverse residents of Santa Fe and surrounding areas. We are also able to help with alternative services that are less formal and make them unique in their own way.  

   Amos, Tim and Matthew Rivera and Bob Clifford are fully licensed funeral directors and are all National Board Certified. We also proudly employ other licensed funeral service professionals that are trained well and are helpful.  as they can be.

Our facility-

Our facility is pleasant and comfortable, however we're planning on expanding to accomodate the growing number of families we serve. We think that Santa Fe is in need for an updated funeral home designed aroud the ideas of the families being served. We are proud to consider ourselves well versed in meeting the various needs of the diverse residents of Santa Fe and surrounding areas.  

Cemetery

Memorial Gardens Cemetery is a a special place in our community. Since 1954 it has been a non-denominational cemetery open to everyone in the community. In the past it had lush green grass and tall blooming trees, but the condition of the cemetery in the past few years has declined somewhat. Over the years ownership of the property  changed a few times, but more recently was owned by an out of state funeral service corporation. In November of 2006 the property was purchased by the Rivera Family Funeral Homes, and work and renovation was immediatly started. Headstones were cleaned, raised and leveled, and old tree stumps were being removed. The entire irrigation system was replaced and updated, and roads were being maintaned better. We do need some time to complete the improvements on the cemetery, and are appreciative of your patience. We want the cemetery to be a place of solice and peace for visitors.
