Erin Nichols

Biography


Erin Nichols, beloved son, brother, and friend went home to be with Jesus on September 2, 2015. Erin was born on May 4, 1985 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2003 where he played football. Erin was a talented artist, skilled in landscaping and gardening. He enjoyed cooking and being in the outdoors of the Ortiz Mountains where he grew up. Above all, Erin was a true friend whose loyalty and dedication could always be counted on. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carmelita and Jose Roybal, Paul Nichols, and cousin Tom Fischer. He is survived by his parents, Catherine and Patrick Nichols and his sister Megin and her husband Kyle Ramos and by his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family of the Ortiz Mountain Community. Erin was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
A rosary will be recited Friday, September 11, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cerrillos, NM. Mass will be celebrated immediately following at the same church at 7 p.m. with a reception after at St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Hall. A private burial of ashes will take place at later date.
