I was thinking of Betsy recently and was sad to hear that she has died. I grew up with Betsy in Bethesda and was a year behind her at North Bethesda Junior High School and Walter Johnson High. I remember Betsy as one of the prettiest and kindest girls I ever met. We used to dance at the teen club dances. She had a wonderful sense of humor and laughed at my dumb jokes.
My deep and heartfelt condolences to her husband and children. The world was a better place for Betsy being alive and touching so many lives.
