Aurelio Vigil
November 12, 1924 ~ February 23, 2010
Aurelio Vigil, of Pecos, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his father Patricio Vigil, mother Elenita Vigil, son Mike Vigil, infant son Patrick Vigil, in-laws Rube and Theresa Longacre.
Mr. Vigil is survived by wife of 63 years, Ferby Vigil, daughter Patsy and husband Tony Bermudez, daughter Becky and husband Chris Romero, grandchildren; Gene and wife Michelle Bermudez, Janel and husband Tony Nucci, and Jennifer and husband Isaiah Trujillo and great-grandchildren; Devin and Justin Bermudez, and Alannah, Maiah, and Avah Trujillo and two aunts Elvira and Tommie. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 1:30pm also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic. Interment will follow at 3:00pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: Gene Bermudez, Devin Bermudez, Justin Bermudez, Alannah Trujillo, Maiah Trujillo, and Avah Trujillo. Honorary Pallbearers will include: Tony Bermudez, Chris Romero, Isaiah Trujillo, Tony Nucci, and Mariano Chavez.
